The ATOS 5 family is one of the top end system offered in our optical metrology portfolio. It is built for high-end manufacturing applications and delivers high-precision data in a short measuring time even under harsh conditions. With its powerful light source, the sysetem delivers high-precision data for a diverse range of manual and automated applications, from precision machining to plastic injection quality inspection.
The ATOS 5 is a robust 3D scanner built for use in harsh industrial environments. It can be used stand-alone or within an automated, robotic system such as the ATOS ScanBox. It is also designed to be easy-to-use, mobile and ergonomic, making it ideal for use on the shop floor.
Select from a number of possible configurations and light sensors including a powerful blue light equalizer or laser compressor which enable short measuring times even on the most complex and unconventional surfaces.
Full automation is possible via integration within the ScanBox series systems, which are designed to help manufacturers streamline their quality inspection operation, in line – saving both time and money – for a wide variety of applications.
A wide variety of configurations are available for specialized tasks. The 5 uses a blue light optical equalizer while the 5X uses a laser light projector. Meanwhile, the Airfoil edition is specifically designed for aerospace applications.
