ScanBox Series 7
The ATOS ScanBox Series 7 enables the user to digitise and inspect large and heavy parts such as automotive side panels and hang-on parts up to ten meters in size. Welded assemblies for transportation, mechanical engineering and aircraft construction can also be measured. The area-based measurement data allows the evaluation of hole pattern, trim and character lines.
Overview
8-axis kinematics
The 8-axis kinematics; a combination of horizontal rail, vertical lift and an articulated robot – enables the ease of full-field measurements of large and heavy parts. Due to its eight degrees of freedom, the ATOS sensor is very flexible in its positioning and efficiently captures even the most intricate details of 3D data.
Modular layout
The modular system is adaptable to the user’s needs. For even higher throughput, the ATOS ScanBox 7160 can be expanded with an additional rotation table working area as required. Due to the standardised construction components, an upgrade to the ATOS ScanBox Series 8 is also possible.
Flexible loading options
The ATOS ScanBox Series 7 can be loaded with a driverless sandwich panel transport system, which includes track system, drive computer and safety technology. Alternatively, the parts can be transported into the respective working areas using a transport cart, lifting truck, crane or forklift truck allowing optimised planning for efficient workflows.

ATOS ScanBox 7160
In this optical 3D measuring machine, the high-speed sensor captures particularly large and heavy parts such as side panels with a maximum size of 6,000 x 1,250 mm.
ATOS ScanBox 7260
The user is able to measure large parts with a maximum weight of up to 2,000 kgs, due to the featured additional rotation table working area.
