About Our Speakers
Benjamin Singer | Metrology Expert
Ben studied metrology at Coventry University in the UK and has collaborated with companies across Europe providing quality control, 3D inspection and reverse engineering services. He has also led metrology lab implementation projects for a number of design and manufacturing companies in the aerospace, automotive and precision machining sectors. Since his arrival in Australia and at Scan-Xpress in 2019, Ben has been helping Australian manufacturers better understand and implement recent advancements in metrology and quality control.
Josh Span | Quality Control Application Engineer
Josh studied mechanical engineering at RMIT and began working at Scan-Xpress as an intern in 2018. He has managed and performed quality control and 3D inspection projects for manufacturers across Australia and New Zealand. He has also helped a number of companies set up metrology tools and implement new processes for quality control and materials testing.
