ATOS 5 – Precision Through Innovation
PHONE: 1300 3D SCAN (1300 337 226)
Developed for industrial use, the ATOS 5 delivers high-precision data in a short measuring time even under harsh conditions. The full-field 3D measuring data allows comprehensive process and quality control, visualizing hidden errors and thus speeding up production processes. The right combination of hardware and software allows for safe integration of 3D metrology into production. The industrial housing is protected against dust and splash water. The whole system ensures fast and interference-free data transfer.
With its powerful light source, ATOS 5 delivers high-precision data for a diverse range of manual and automated applications, from tools and molds to plastic and metal parts. The GOM data quality is particularly evident in the detail sharpness of the 3D models, for example, in the precise display of smallest details, rib structures, narrow radii or hemmed edges.
A Blue Light Equalizer, which increases the brightness of the light source by a factor of 1.5 and transmits uniform, non-coherent, speckle-free light to the projection unit. The Blue Light Equalizer of ATOS 5 is so powerful that even on unconventional surfaces short measuring times can be achieved.
The light processing of the ATOS 5X is extended by a Laser Light Compressor, which bundles several laser elements to generate an extremely bright light source on the basis of laser light. The light, which is up to eight times brighter, is particularly resistant to ambient light influences and enables measuring areas of up to 1,000 mm and extremely short exposure times.
ATOS sensors provide full-field 3D coordinates for each individual measurement. Within a few seconds, up to 12 million independent measuring points are captured per scan. This is made possible by the low noise level of the Blue Light Equalizer. This allows for measuring areas of up to 1000 mm and at the same time extremely short exposure times. Acquisition times of 0.2 seconds are reached.
Eliminate travel costs and save time by moving the system to the part. The ATOS 5 and 5X is completely portable and can be relocated with relative ease. With the use of dynamic referencing, difficult environment conditions are accounted for to maintain high quality scans.
The GOM Touch Probe allows discrete point measurements in conjunction with ATOS 5 and 5X measurements for points that are hard to obtain via line of sight issues. The touch probe can be used for online data alignment as well.
